English Version Application Guidelines

The 1st Kawasaki International EKIDEN 

42.195km EKIDEN（seven runners）

"Kawasaki full marathon relay race", which is held on the second Sunday in December of every year over the past 35 years will be renewed as "Kawasaki international EKIDEN".

We set up some new departments for people from abroad, high school students(it will be composed of the same interval as the national high school ekiden relay race for boys), and elderly people.It is going to be a relay race which various generations will join. Please feel free to come and join us.

EKIDEN
A race running long distances with relays of multiple runners.
The runner does not pass the baton to the next runner, but passes and connects with Tasuki (a string tied to the loop).

■Enterable Eligibility
A Male:high school students (Age 15 to 18)
B Female:high school students (Age 15 to 18)
C School students・General・Male・Male & Female Mixed
(Age 6 or older)
D School students・General・Female 
(Age 6 or older)
E Great age ・Male・Female・Male & Female Mixed 
(Age 40 or older)
F Mature age・Male・Female・Male & Female Mixed
(Age 60 or older)
G International (Age 6 or older)

At least 4 people are Embassy's nationality and three other people need be embassy staff(three other people is All nationalities are welcome)

Please bring a copy of the email from the organizer OR show the email on your smartphone.
You also need to verify your identity by a valid passport or photo ID upon check-in.

■Capacity
1000 team
Please note that the entry will be closed once the maximum capacity has been reached.

■Award Ceremony
1st to 3 st（There is no recognition of only the mixed sex team）

Please note that race kits will NOT be shipped overseas.
Race kits can be picked up upon check-in at the venue.
Registrations via "Runnet Global" are limited to NON JAPANESE CITIZENS who live in Japan and all applicants who live overseas.
If you are a Japanese citizen and live in Japan, you must register via "RUNNET"(http://runnet.jp/)
All registrations found by Japanese citizens living in Japan on Runnet Global will be CANCELLED and will be NON-REFUNDABLE.
Absolutely no refunds will be issued once the payment has been completed. 
Race registrations cannot be deferred or transferred under any circumstances.
